The construction of two of the new weirs is almost complete and work has started on the intake and powerhouse. This work will continue through the winter.
In the November 14 Update, you can find a summary of the work activities associated with Preparation for Winter and Spring Flows. This procedure is still being followed and the first step of constructing a new steel and log cofferdam is now underway. Once completed it should take about one week to clean the upstream work area and make it ready for re-watering. This will significantly reduce the upstream work area.
TCCL is working as quickly as possible. At this time the re-watering is anticipated for January. This will mark the end of the work in this area.
There is no change to the plan or timing of the removal of the downstream cofferdams which continues to be prior to spring freshet.
TCCL is keeping the various Agencies up to date on the construction schedule.
